Karina Lach

Karina was born and raised in Germany until she decided to move to Madrid in 2007.

While living in Germany, Karina completed a professional formation as Foreign Language Correspondent in English and Spanish, passing the final official examination at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Düsseldorf.

When she came to Madrid in 2007, she joined one of the most important Spanish IP firms. There she worked as a paralegal and acquired extensive experience on patent prosecution matters in Latin America. Her language skills (native German speaker and fluent in English and Spanish) allows her to be ready and to support a diversity of clients and local agents.

In 2012 Karina joined BALDER, where her experience with patent formalities in the sometimes-unpredictable Latin American countries, made her an invaluable resource for the Patent Department. Karina always finds the most appropriate route to solve any situation, in an efficient and cost-effective way, when formal issues appear not to have an easy solution and the client is in trouble.

Karina studied her Law Degree at the University of Hagen and obtained the Master of Laws in 2019.
