Guiomar Iniesta
Born in the south of Madrid, Guiomar graduated in Law and Political Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She has always shown a strong interest in exploring new countries and learning languages, which inspired her to pursue a career in a multicultural environment, engaging with people from diverse nationalities.
After completing a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies and the Bar Exam in Spain, Guiomar decided to study an LL.M in Intellectual Property, and New Technologies through a Master’s program at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In this field, she discovered a fascinating discipline that combines creativity, innovation, and the protection of the rights arising from them, offering endless opportunities for development and continuous growth.
Driven by her international aspirations and despite having already studied in the United Kingdom and worked in Malta, she embraced a new opportunity to live abroad. During her specialization, she spent a semester at Queen Mary University of London, focusing on Trademark Law—an experience she considers one of the most enriching of her life.
Since joining BALDER, Guiomar has managed global trademark portfolios, providing strategic advice on availability searches, filings, prosecution, and enforcement. BALDER has provided her with the international environment she had always sought.
In her free time, Guiomar enjoys music, reading, board games, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
