Bárbara Hernández

Bárbara has been a true Madrid native since she was born in Alcorcón. She successfully completed a Dual Degree in Law and Political Science and Public Administration at the Autonomous University of Madrid. After this stage, she decided to prepare for the competitive exams to join the Judicial and Prosecutorial Career.

However, she soon realized her passion lay elsewhere. A lover of TV series, movies, and music, she completed a Master’s in Intellectual Property at Carlos III University of Madrid to specialize in the field she wanted to develop her career in. Simultaneously, she also completed the Master’s in Legal Practice at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) to complement her legal education.

Her first professional experience was at a prestigious law firm in the IP/IT department, where she had the opportunity to work in an international environment and gain deeper insights specifically into the world of Industrial Property.

Thus, without neglecting her interest in copyright law, she decided to focus on trademarks, designs, and patents, which led her to join BALDER in the Trademarks Department in September 2020.

Since then, he has gained experience in advising on strategies for the protection of these highly relevant intangible assets, both in administrative and judicial proceedings, and has strengthened his passion for this interesting, and sometimes unknown, branch of law. In addition, Bárbara is becoming more and more established in the provision of patent services.
